§ 14-81. Adoption of National Electrical Code.

  • There is hereby adopted by the mayor and city council for the purpose of safeguarding of persons and of buildings and their contents from hazards arising from the use of electricity for light, heat, power and for other purposes in the city that certain code known as the National Electrical Code, being particularly the 1993 edition thereof or the most current edition on file in the office of the city clerk, of which code a copy has been and is now on file in the office of the city clerk, and the same is hereby adopted and incorporated as fully as if set out at length. The provisions thereof shall be the minimum standards for electrical installations of any kind within the city.
